Sixfingerz from Antwerp, Belgium releases his Travelin’ Man EP, five tracks of highly instrumental Hip Hop and Downtempo with organic and captivating rhythms, melodies and builds. ‘Jungle Growth’ begins with an assortment of nature sounds and drops into a funky bass and buoyant beats with piano and string snippets progressing with glitchy playful drum patterns. ‘Blood On the Nile’ ramps in with mysterious echoey sounds and into chill beats, suave and compelling as it entices with a chocolately melody and Egyptian electronic finesse. ‘Fata Morgana’ evokes an urban middle-eastern concoction of straight up beats and sitar strumming, an exotic and heady track followed by ‘Evening Breeze’ a fresh tune with an oboe-sounding instrument and strings rhythmic and intoxicating.
