Krystian Shek our German born producer releases ‘Destroy & Rebuild V1’ a full length Trip-Hop album filled with sparking gems; bright, innovative and idiosyncratically polished. Starting the album is ‘Destroy & Rebuild V1.1’ a favorable tune with a beat at about 105BPM, a snappy snare, apt edits, mid-range bass rhythms and sweet melodies. ‘Sumatra Rain’ is another great tune with playful drums, an enticing melody and build bringing you into a suave and savory feel, flute notes and vocal edits further parlay. ‘No Hairspray On Staten Island’ follows with more sweet melodies and accentuating arrangements, a relaxed beat and gentle cymbal bring about a dreamy reverie. ‘Android Funk’ later on presents a creative clairvoyance, clean production, steady, interesting drum patterns, lively guitar and horn riffs move the tune with ease. Next ‘Bangkok Handshake’ begins with French dialogue ramping into balanced drums with a smooth snare, a variety of synths both subtle and light, and back into invigorating beats. ‘Funkey Roids’ brings a nice vibe with soulful guitar and upright bass notes responding, shake your booty laid-back beats and spiritual organ keys all with a calm and skillful style. Maintaining a vintage funk style with modern and individual accents in production, sounds and arrangements, ‘Destroy & Rebuild V1’ is an original and pleasurable album.
